Kabir has ~23 years of investment experience focused on India. Kabir has been Managing Director at Berggruen Holdings since 2005, where he was the first hire and has set up Berggruen’s investment operations in India. At Berggruen, Kabir has been responsible for investments across multiple sectors. Prior to Berggruen, Kabir was the CEO of RDC Concrete India Ltd. RDC was previously financially strained, Kabir led a successful turnaround of the business. Currently, RDC is amongst the leading ready mix concrete companies in India. Eventually Kabir orchestrated the sale of RDC to True North (a leading private equity fund in India). Kabir started his career at Indocean Chase Capital in 1996. Kabir received a Masters Degree from Sydenham College in Mumbai.
